Thumb represents your -- Parents
Second (Index) finger represents your Siblings
Middle finger represents your Self
Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner
& Last (Little) finger represents your Children

Firstly, open your palms (face to face), bend the middle fingers and hold them together - back to back
Secondly, open and hold the remaining three fingers and the thumb - tip to tip
(As shown in the figure Above)

Now, try to Separate your Thumbs (representing the parents)..., they will open, because your parents are not destined to live with you lifelong (Sorry but its the Truth), and have to leave you sooner or later.

Please join your thumbs as before and separate your Index fingers (representing siblings)... ., they will also open, because your brothers and sisters will have their own families and will have to lead their own separate lives.

Now join the Index fingers and separate your Little fingers (representing your children)... ., they will open too, because the children also will get married and settle down on their own some day...

ondoy

the least thing that our country expected is a typhoon like this. ugh. it converted the manila area to a huge water formation. everyone was stranded and stuck at the roofs of their houses. many people died. and lots of people were affected.

I feel lucky that my friends and relatives are all okay. some experienced floods and entered their houses. but at least they're all safe.

let's pray for those people who are greatly affected by this typhoon ondoy. especially those in Rizal, and marikina

"wake me up when SEPTEMBER ends"
"do you remember? the 21st day of SEPTEMBER?"

ever wondered why September is always associated with songs or poems? honestly, I don't know the answer too. HAHAHA I'm also wondering why.

anyway. the 1st week of September for me is so busy, hectic and tiring yet worth it. why? it's because the two competitions that we look forward each year will be held at the same week. the cheers and yells competition(which we still haven't practiced as a level) and the MAPEH on the go intersection which is 5mins. Aerobics dance for the fourth year students. luckily, our section's already done with the dance. all we have to do is to polish the whole routine and enjoy :)

as for the AYC's activities next week. we have jam packed activity for 1 day. and it's on september 11,2009 the Tagis lakas '10 and coronation night of MR. AND MS. CSA. next week's will be very very very tiring!


OH by the way. Father Willy will be in Manila on September 11 onwards! yay! we'll have a get together reunion with AYC 08-09 I miss them so much!

updates

sorry for not updating my blog for almost 1 month. pft. I'm really busy with everything. senior year is really stressful but at the same time it's fun :) after the stressful 10-day vacation due to the stupid A9h1n1) virus that hit our school. many things happened.

UPDATES:
  • done with my UPCAT (last August 1, 2009) we arrived early @ UPLB. we ordered my food first then went straight to my testing center (CPC lecture hall) to my surprise, i saw Cydney there! ahaha. that's what i'm hopingfor, an augustinian who is in the same room with me :) the exam's not that hard. but it really lacks time. and the competition is really big. imagine how many students took the UPCAT from the different regions of the philippines. the exam started @ 1pm and ended @ 7pm.
  • our first quarter integrated project's a SUCCESS! it's a symposium regarding the needs and wants of man. and guess what? we ranked the first! :) ahahaha i know right! it's really worth all the effort and the stressful 3-day preparation given to us. ahaha
  • Last First Periodical exams are already done. ugh. Physics is really getting to my nerves. I don't get it. pft. when sir bondoy is discussing the lesson about projectile, free-fall and everything, iI can solve the problems he's giving even on the quizzes. but during examinations, I can't answer it! pft. the problems are sooooo hard! errr.
  • My USTET(University of Sto. Tomas Entrance Test) is comming up. it's on August 23,2009 @ benavides building. 8am-12nn. waah. I'm not that nervous but I want to pass this exam. I really want to study in UST. it's not a dream school. but still. WISH ME LUCK!
  • INTRAMURALS/St. Augustine's week's/High School week. are comming! :) yay! start of fun on monday. :)
  • MR. AND MS. CSA (september 11, 2009) the highlight of the high school week :) go paolo! hahaha
  • NCC (National Cheerig Competition) regionals will be held @ our school's audi-gym. yay for us! since we are the title holder. hahaha. AYC's in-charge of the ticket booths and registratoion area :)
so far. that's all. haha. yes i know JAM-PACKED august. pft. but i'm having so much fun :)
